Holmer Becker


b. January 30, 1955 - Fürth, Bavaria, Germany

German composer. Holmer Becker studied composition with Gottfried Müller and received the prize for composition from the "Theaterverein Fürth e. V."
He has composed works for soli, choir and orchestra as well as orchestra alone, solo instrument and orchestra, chamber music and choir a cappella. He has also written vocal music.
Many of his compositions have been broadcast over radio and recorded on CD. His music is frequently played in Germany, England, France, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Slovenia, Spain as well as in Japan and South America.
